Several Businesses, Individuals Receive Awards At 113th Annual Chamber Awards Dinner

WINONA LAKE ā Multiple individuals and businesses received awards at the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce’s 113th annual chamber awards dinner on Thursday, Jan. 30.
The event was held in Grace College’s Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center in Winona Lake.
Kosciusko County business professionals, along with local and state elected officials, were in attendance.
Major sponsors for the event included Silveus Insurance Group, Lake City Bank, Robinson Construction Inc., Maple Leaf Farms, 1st Source Bank, DreamOn Studios, Bowen Health, Blue River Digital, Warsaw GMC, Winona IT, Grace College, Core Mechanical Services Inc., 1Eighty Digital, Lutheran Health Network and Wildman.
The evening’s keynote speaker was Indiana Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Vanessa Green Sinders, who was interviewed by Lake City Bank President and Chief Executive Officer David Findlay.

Lake City Bank received the 2024 Legacy Impact Award.
Legacy Impact
Lake City Bank received the Legacy Impact Award for serving Kosciusko County for over 150 years.

LaunchPad Family Friendly Business
This award is given to a business that works toward providing innovative and creative solutions to support their employees’ family and childcare needs. The 2024 winner was Kosciusko Community YMCA.

This award is given to a business or individual/business owner who made a significant impact on downtown Warsaw. The 2024 winner was Atelier.

This award is presented to a business, non-profit, or service organization that has made a significant impact on Kosciusko County. The 2024 winner was Cardinal Services.

The River Coffeehouse received the 2024 Rising Star Award, presented by Sonja Hesser with Horizon Bank.
Rising Star
This award celebrates Kosciusko County’s highest performing new companies and recognizes those that have exceeded initial targets for growth and financial performance. They have demonstrated an understanding of their competitors, customers and the markets they operate in, and have the foundations in place for continued commercial success. The 2024 winner was The River Coffeehouse.

Community Development
This award is presented to a Kosciusko County business in recognition of their outstanding contribution to community development in Kosciusko County. This award highlights innovative ideas that enhance and contribute to the forward progress in the community and those who support it. The 2024 winner was The Barn 1880: Historic Venue.
Business Of The Year
This award lauds a Kosciusko County business that has exhibited exemplary leadership, business growth and service to the community. This recipient is recognized as a leader in the business community and as serving as a positive example of business practice. The 2024 winner was Parkview Health.

Stacey Leek received the 2024 Ambassador of the Year Award.
Ambassador Of The Year
This award is given to a Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce ambassador based on event attendance and level of commitment to the Chamber and its members. Stacey Leek with Stillwater Hospice was recognized as the 2024 Ambassador of The Year.

Leo PatiƱo received the 2024 Young Adult Professional of the Year Award, presented by John Warren, Crossroads Bank. Pictured, from left, are PatiƱo and Warren.
Young Adult Professional Of The Year
This award is presented to an individual under the age of 40 who has achieved success and excellence in their field and has demonstrated leadership, initiative and dedication in pursuing their careers and commitments outside of work. The 2024 winner was Leo PatiƱo with Warsaw Adult Education.

Government Excellence
This award is given to a government official or government employee who has performed a particular service or overall effectiveness in office on behalf of residents within Kosciusko County, is currently an employee or in any level of government office, or has been out of office no more than two years and has demonstrated commitment to supporting businesses. The 2024 winner was Craig Allebach.
Leon Horn and Becky Walls were honored as the 2024 Man and Woman of the Year, respectively.
