CASA Of Kosciusko County Welcomes Two New Board Members
Press Release

Kristina Crouse

Elle Turley
WARSAW — CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Kosciusko County recently announced the addition of two distinguished professionals to its board of directors.
Kristina Crouse and Elle Turley are joining the board. Their expertise and dedication to the community will strengthen CASA’s mission to advocate for abused and neglected children in Kosciusko County.
Crouse is a nurse practitioner with Parkview Physicians Group.
“I have a lot of exposure to and experience with children who have experienced abuse and/or neglect,” said Crouse about her reason to pursue this board volunteer work. “In my line of work, I deal with these types of cases all too often. I have been wanting to do more to advocate for these children/my patients. CASA is such an amazing organization, and I feel called to serve on this board.”
Trained to recognize signs of child abuse and neglect, Crouse brings a wealth of relevant experience and a deep passion for helping vulnerable children.
“We are so pleased to have Kristina bring this experience to the board,” said Erin Rowland Jones, executive director of CASA of Kosciusko County.
Turley is the marketing and business development manager at SYM Financial Advisors. She just completed eight years serving as a school board member on the Warsaw Community School Board and is on the Board of the Center Lake Conservation Association.
“I have a lot of respect for the work that CASA does for children who need a voice and have had in my mind that I’d serve for CASA someday, in some capacity,” said Turley about her interests in becoming a board member for CASA. “I think it is the most important responsibility we have as humans, to help the vulnerable who need an advocate. Becoming a CASA board member offers a new way to continue to serve children in our county.”
“Elle’s extensive background in leadership and community service will bring a valuable perspective to CASA’s mission,” said Rowland Jones. “Kristina and Elle’s unique skills and commitment to serving children in need will be invaluable as we continue to expand our impact in the community.”
CASA of Kosciusko County is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing trained volunteers who advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children involved in the court system. By ensuring every child has a voice in court, CASA helps build a brighter future for those in need.
For those interested in becoming a CASA volunteer, new CASA training starts the week of Feb. 17. For more information about CASA of Kosciusko County and how to volunteer or support their mission, visit www.casachildren.com or contact Jones at [email protected] or (574) 372-2401.
