On Dec. 28, 2024, Warsaw and Winona Lake Police officers responded to a fight at a Warsaw residence. Upon arrival at the scene, one of the officers spoke with Flora, who had red marks on her neck and upper arms.
According to court documents, Flora said she and Marsh were arguing when Marsh walked by her and used his hip to push her into a refrigerator. Flora told officers she picked up a bottle of hot sauce and hit the back of Marsh’s neck. She also said she swung at Marsh several times, but was unsure if she made contact.
In an effort to retrieve her phone from Marsh, Flora allegedly hit him, spitting on him and tearing his sweatshirt.
Marsh told officers he and Flora were arguing when Flora slapped his face and shoulders about 14 times. He then pushed Flora, causing her to fall to the floor.
Officers noticed red marks on Marsh’s forehead, left cheek, left ear, and neck. Marsh also showed officers what appeared to be red hand prints on his shoulders.
Surveillance footage inside the home showed Marsh and Flora physically fighting.
Marsh admitted to taking Flora’s phone when she said she was going to call 911.
Two children were present in the home during the altercation.
Both Flora and Marsh have been arrested and released on bond.
