Broiler Fire Reported At Warsaw’s Burger King

WARSAW — A broiler fire was reported at Warsaw’s Burger King restaurant on Tuesday, Jan. 14.
The fire was reported around 3:15 p.m. and the restaurant was immediately evacuated.
The fire also resulted in damage to the restaurant’s roof.
Around 3:50 p.m., the fire was determined to be under control.
Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory, Winona Lake Fire Department, Lutheran EMS and Warsaw Police Department responded to the scene. NIPSCO, the Kosciusko County Health Department and the building commissioner also responded.
- Winona Lake Fire Department firefighters arrived to assist Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory.
- First responder vehicles blocked several entrances around the Marketplace of Warsaw shopping center.
- Firefighters accessed the roof of Burger King.
