Roscoe Harold Goings, 94, rural South Whitley, died at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.

He was born June 21, 1930. On Aug. 2, 1969, he married Hazel Ann (Cook) Chaplin, who survives.

He also is survived by children, Candice Deitrick, Findley, Ohio, Cindy (Clint) Hatton, South Whitley, Cheryl (Kent) Hoffman, Columbia City, and Jeff (Michelle) Chaplin, Dry Ridge, Ky.; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Ruth Malcolm, Butler; and a sister-in-law, Adonna Goings.

Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City, is handling arrangements.
