Whitko Partners With Purdue Extension For ‘Reality Store’ Program
News Release
WARSAW — Purdue Extension Kosciusko County is excited to announce its partnership with Whitko High School to bring the “Reality Store” program to students in eighth to 10th grade.
This educational initiative consists of seven interactive sessions, each lasting 45 minutes, designed to teach essential money management skills.
Through “Reality Store,” students will engage in hands-on activities that empower them to track their spending, create budgets, devise weekly meal plans and navigate typical monthly expenses.
“We are thrilled to collaborate with Whitko High School to offer this valuable program,” said Purdue Extension Kosciusko County Health & Human Sciences Educator Shannon Shepherd. “Financial education is crucial for students as they prepare for their futures, and ‘Reality Store’ provides them with the tools they need to make informed financial decisions.”
The sessions will take place within the school.
