Pierceton Fire Department Holds Annual Award Ceremony

PIERCETON — The Pierceton Fire Department held its annual awards ceremony and Christmas party on Sunday, Dec. 15.
Awards were as follows:
- Fire Chief’s Award: Don Ellison
- Firefighter Of The Year: Jared Smith
- First Responder Of The Year: Carla Baker
Firefighters Chuck See and Chris Phifer were also honored, retiring with 39 and 15 years of service, respectively. Gordon Baker and Chet Goodman were also honored with the retirees.
