WARSAW — Kosciusko County 4-H Junior Leaders are making an impact this holiday season through their annual Adopt-a-Family community service project, in partnership with Combined Community Services of Warsaw. The initiative aims to bring joy and support to local families in need during the holiday season.
The 4-H Junior Leaders, a group of young people dedicated to community service and leadership, have identified families in need and provided them with essential items and holiday gifts. This year, the 4-H Junior Leaders adopted two families.
The Adopt-a-Family project involves collecting donations and/or purchasing food, clothing, toys and other essential items. The Junior Leaders then wrap and deliver the gifts to the adopted families.
Community members who wish to contribute to the initiative can contact Combined Community Services of Warsaw to gather more information.
The 4-H Junior Leaders program is dedicated to fostering leadership, citizenship and life skills in young people in seventh through 12th grade. Through various community service projects and activities, members learn the importance of giving back and making a positive impact in their communities.
