Area Police Reports
Kosciusko County
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following incident:
- 5:29 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, 804-2 North Jefferson St., Silver Lake. Officers investigated a car that was struck outside a residence.
Fulton County
Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following incidents:
- 8:40 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, SR 25W and CR 700S, Rochester. Police were notified of a Ford with tinted windows driving all over the roadway, almost hitting people head on and also crossing the fog line almost hitting road signs and mailboxes. The caller has been behind the vehicle since Logansport and is the same driving behavior as reported in Cass County. Police located the vehicle and made a traffic stop. Everything was all right.
- 8:27 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, 400 block West Fifth Street, Rochester. An individual came to the sheriff’s office to report a German shepherd, outside, appears skinny. The individual requested an officer check on the animal. An officer went to the residence and found no one at home, but heard dogs inside. A neighbor came out and stated the dog is lean, but not under weight, cannot see ribs or hip bones. The officer was also advised the dogs are mostly indoor dogs.
- 5:24 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, SR 19, Akron. An individual notified police of his life being threatened by a person in Peru through the use of a device. The caller just wanted it documented and recorded.
