Juanita Lois “Jay” Glancy Hughes, 99, Goshen, formerly of Syracuse, and Huntington, died at 6:11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 6, 2024, at Greencroft Healthcare in Goshen.

She was born on Thursday, Aug. 20, 1925. She married James J. Hughes on July 13, 1947; he passed away on Oct. 23, 2010.

Survivors include daughters Julie Wozniak, Pierceton, Jenny (Gary) Lewis, Goshen, son Jeff (Gretchen) Hughes, Fortville; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and brother Jerry L. Glancy.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Walker & Glancy Funeral Home in Montpelier.
