Downtown Warsaw Bright With Holiday Activities Dec. 7
News Release
WARSAW — “All Is Bright,” presented by 1st Source Bank and hosted by Main Street Warsaw, will be bringing holiday bustle to downtown Warsaw on Saturday, Dec. 7.
Shoppers and celebrants will enjoy opportunities to win gift certificates, visit with Santa and support local charities by buying a Christmas tree or taking advantage of not-for-profit gift-wrapping services and hours of carolers.
Customer Reward Program
Make a purchase at a downtown business and text the word “Warsaw” to (574) 313-5775 to receive directions on how to submit your receipt to be entered to win weekly gift certificates and a grand prize of $500 Kosciusko Cash and $1,500 in gift certificates from participating businesses.
The program started on Nov. 29 and already more than 100 people have entered, and four winners have been drawn for the weekly gift certificates.
Christmas Tree Sales
Christmas tree sales in the Warsaw City Hall parking lot will benefit Fellowship Missions.
Anderson Florist and Greenhouse will be at the parking lot from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. selling Christmas trees, wreaths and greenery. Portions of the sales go to benefit The Fellowship Missions.
Downtown Christmas Market
The Downtown Christmas Market at Kosciusko Economic Development Corp. offices, 207 S. Buffalo St., Warsaw, will feature several local home-based businesses and will be open on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays until Christmas. Hours are 5-8 p.m. Wednesdays, 5-8 p.m. Fridays, and noon to 6 p.m. Saturdays.
Gift-Wrapping Services
The Fellowship Missions’ The Gathering Place, at 123 S. Buffalo St., downtown Warsaw, will be a hub of activity. Gift-wrapping services will be provided by the Friends of the Kosciusko County Library for a $5 donation from noon until 6 p.m.
Strolling Carolers
Strolling carolers will bring holiday cheer downtown. The holiday shopping and dining experience will be brightened by six hours of carolers strolling through downtown and into businesses from 1-9 p.m. The schedule includes: Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1-3 p.m.; Winona Lake Grace Church, 3-5 p.m.; and Community Grace Church (Goshen), 7-9 p.m.
