WARSAW — The send-off for the Warsaw Tigers Football team was slightly delayed as the three charter buses arrived late, but it didn’t take players long to load the buses and the team head toward Indianapolis.
The team had a police escort and was followed by more police, fire departments, EMS and fans as they traveled down Logan Street, onto Winona Avenue, to Washington Street, onto Center Street and finishing down Buffalo Street. The route was changed earlier in the day, due to the fact the charter buses would not be able to go under the railroad bridge on Columbia.
Streets and parking lots along the route were lined with people, with many living along the route coming out to wish the Tigers luck.
Here are some photos from the team loading up and some of the vehicles in the caravan.
