New Hampshire Man Arrested For Inappropriate Contact With Marshall County Children

CONCORD, N.H. — A New Hampshire man was arrested on multiple charges related to crimes against children after law enforcement received a tip from a Marshall County detective.
In July, the Concord Police Department in Concord, N.H., was notified by Lt. Detective Les McFarland with the Marshall County Indiana Sheriff’s Department about a person believed to be in Concord, N.H., who utilized online services to entice and solicit explicit content from children.
A second complaint was made to Concord PD around the same time involving a similar allegation. A search warrant was executed which led to the discovery of an additional juvenile victim in Belgrade, Mont. With the assistance of the Belgrade Montana Police Department, the victim was located and interviewed.
On Nov. 26, the Concord Police Department arrested Austin Holton, 29, Concord, N.H., following a multi-month, multi-jurisdictional investigation.
As a result of the investigation, probable cause was established and an arrest warrant was issued, charging Holton with seven counts of possession of child sexual abuse images; two counts of criminal solicitation for the manufacture of child sexual abuse images; and two counts of certain uses of computer services prohibited.
Holton was transported to the Concord Police Department, where he was processed without incident. Holton refused the services of a bail commissioner and was transported to the Merrimack County House of Corrections. He is scheduled to be arraigned in the Concord District Court on Nov. 27.
