Cromwell Woman Arrested For Three Drug Cases

WARSAW — A Cromwell woman was recently arrested on three drug-related cases.
Lindsay Raye Housman, 37, 11194 N. Honeycomb Lane, Cromwell, is charged with possession of methamphetamine with a prior dealing conviction, a level 4 felony; two counts of possession of methamphetamine, both level 5 felonies; two counts of possession of methamphetamine, three counts of unlawful possession of a syringe, and maintaining a common nuisance, all level 6 felonies; two counts of possession of paraphernalia with a prior conviction, both class A misdemeanors; possession of marijuana, a class B misdemeanor; and two counts of possession of paraphernalia, a class C misdemeanor.
On May 20, 2023, an Indiana State Police trooper saw a vehicle tailgating on SR 13 in Syracuse. The trooper pulled the vehicle over and identified Housman as a passenger.
According to court documents, upon searching the vehicle, the trooper found 0.5 grams of meth, THC, and drug paraphernalia. In Housman’s purse, the trooper found a syringe that tested positive for meth.
Housman said she had meth and drug paraphernalia on her person. The total amount of meth on Housman’s person was 8.9 grams.
On Dec. 6, 2023, Indiana State Police troopers went to a residence in Cromwell to serve a warrant. Housman was inside a vehicle at the residence when troopers arrived.
In the vehicle, officers found a smoking pipe. Housman admitted to smoking spice out of the pipe.
Troopers also found meth, a syringe, and additional drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.
Housman said she obtained the syringe at a home where an overdose occurred earlier in the day.
On April 11, Warsaw Police officers served a search warrant at a residence. Upon entering the home, officers saw Housman and Erica J. Weisser, 42, Warsaw.
According to court documents, upon searching Housman’s purse, officers found an eyeglass case containing syringes and a plastic bag containing meth residue. Housman said she found the eyeglass case the day prior and placed it in her purse. She admitted to using meth and that she saw meth in the residence within the last day or two.
Housman has prior convictions for meth possession, failure to appear, unlawful possession of a syringe, dealing meth, and possessing paraphernalia.
Housman was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail for all of these cases on Nov. 21.
