PLYMOUTH — A Plymouth man was arrested for allegedly having sex with a high school student in Marshall County.

Eric Alejandro Trevino, 35, 1800 Hillcrest Ave., Plymouth, is charged with sexual misconduct with a minor, a level 4 felony.

On Oct. 23, a group of students at Plymouth High School disclosed that a student told them they had sexual intercourse with Trevino.

The student’s mother told Marshall County Sheriff’s Department officers and detectives the student disclosed the relationship to their therapist.

According to court documents, during an interview with a Children’s Services case manager, the student disclosed details of their encounter with Trevino. They said they knew Trevino was older than 18. The student also alleged Trevino agreed to give them and their friends marijuana if he could have his way with the student. They said Trevino never asked them about their age and blocked them on social media after they engaged in sexual activity on two separate occasions.

Trevino has an initial hearing at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, in Marshall County.
