Robert O. Gottschalk, 97, Rochester, died at 4:42 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2024, at home.

He was born Nov. 4, 1927. His wife, Elaine (Weller) Gottschalk, whom he married Aug. 27, 1948, survives.

He also is survived by his children, Connie Hudkins, Rochester, David (Deana) Gottschalk, Rochester, and Steve (Carol) Gottschalk, Rochester; daughter-in-law, Debbie (Jim) Frost, Rochester; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brother, James Gottschalk, Fort Myers, Fla.; sister, Phyllis (Jim) Bird, Logansport; and several nieces and nephews.

Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, is handling arrangements.
