Viola Donna (DePoy) Cowger, 95, Rochester, died at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, 2024, at Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester.

She was born Oct. 4, 1929. On Oct. 23, 1948, she married Wilbur “Bud” Ernest Cowger, who preceded her in death in 2023.

She is survived by her daughters, Beverly Cooley, Talma, Dianna (Danni) Overmyer, Tippecanoe, Twyla (Mike) Hartman, Argos, and Melody (Clyde) Avery, Plymouth; sons, Kelly Cowger (companion Wendy Goodman), Talma, and Tim Cowger, Rochester; 30 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and also great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren.
