Jay Dee Rogers, 73, rural Peru, died at 10:10 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4, 2024, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.

He was born May 16, 1951. His wife, Catherine “Cathy” (Miller) Rogers, whom he married June 15, 1974, survives.

He also is survived by two daughters, Christie (Gregory) Woodruff, Burlington, Ontario, and Shannon (Scott) Gress, Peru; seven grandchildren; sister, Patty (Doug) King, Roann; brother, Stephen Rogers, Denver, Ind.; and his lifelong best friend, Jim Stinson, LaFontaine.
