Motorcyclist Dead After Bourbon Crash

BOURBON — A Fort Wayne man is dead after an accident in Bourbon.
On Sunday,​ Oct. 27,​ at approximately 10:11 a.m.,​ Marshall County Central Dispatch received a call regarding a two vehicle accident at US 30 and Hawthorn Road. Officers were notified that one of the vehicles involved was a motorcycle.
When officers arrived on scene,​ the driver of the 2019 Kawasaki ZR9 ​motorcycle,​ Seth Kuckuck,​ 34, of Fort Wayne,​ was pronounced dead. The second driver involved,​ Linda Clevenger,​ 71, of Plymouth,​ was driving a 2008 Chrysler Town and Country Van, and she was not injured in the collision.
Officers on scene were able to determine that the motorcycle was traveling east on US 30. The van,​ stopped at the stop sign,​ ​failed to yield to the traveling motorcycle before traveling north across US 30.
Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was assisted on scene by the Marshall County Coroner’s Office,​ the Bourbon Police Department,​ Plymouth Fire Department and EMS,​ and Reichert-Knepp Towing Services.
