Baugher Arrested For Allegedly Battering Woman

PIERCETON — A Pierceton man was recently arrested for allegedly battering a woman.
Brady Alan Baugher, 34, 4895 E. 100S, Pierceton, is charged with domestic battery resulting in serious bodily injury, a level 5 felony; and domestic battery with a child under 16 present, a level 6 felony.
On Sept. 28, a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office deputy spoke with a woman at a Warsaw hospital regarding a battery that occurred at a Pierceton residence. The woman was at the hospital for injuries she sustained in the incident.
According to court documents, the woman said Baugher became extremely angry, grabbing her by the throat and throwing her to the ground. While she attempted to get away, Baugher allegedly hit the left side of the woman’s face with a closed fist. This caused the woman to fall to the floor and blackout for a period of time.
The deputy noticed redness and a scratch on the woman’s neck.
Three children were present in the residence during the altercation.
Baugher has already been arrested and released on bond. He has an initial hearing on Nov. 14 in Kosciusko Superior Court Three.
