GOSHEN — As part of its mission to build communities of stewardship through service and donations, the Everence Association Michiana Chapter spent a day serving Bethany Christian Schools through yard clean up and landscaping maintenance.
In addition to the service, Bethany Christian Schools also received a $7,200 grant from the Everence Association Michiana Chapter to further its mission of preparing students to participate in God’s work in the world.
Nearly 30 Everence clients and employees came together on Friday, Oct. 4, to weed, remove overgrown bushes and clean up the school grounds. These efforts supported the school’s recent addition of a lower school wing, built to better accommodate its growing student body, including its first class of kindergarten students.
Bethany Christian Schools, located in Goshen, is a private K-12 school that works to provide children with hands-on, educational experiences.
Everence Association Inc. is a fraternal benefit society that serves people who share the historical biblical stewardship principles. Everence Association Chapter grants, funded by member purchases of certain Everence products, aid local organizations and causes, such as Bethany Christian Schools.
