South Shore Social To Assist With Hurricane Disaster Relief
SYRACUSE — South Shore Social, 10601 N. SR 13, Syracuse, will be jumping from 4-8 p.m. this evening, Oct. 8, as it hosts its last cruise in of the season and collects items for Hurricane Disaster Relief.
South Shore Social is teaming up with Andrea Murphy and the Hurricane Disaster Relief Program with the hope of filling a semi with items needed as North Carolina recovers from Hurricane Helene. Most needed items are: charcoal, work gloves, anything baby related, storage totes, hygiene items.”They’re still in search and recovery mode, so anything you can provide product wise (is needed),” Jeff Dyson said in a video on South Shore Social’s Facebook page.
All donations collected will be driven to North Carolina Saturday. Dyson, co-owner of South Shore Social, said the interactive sports bar. Those unable to attend the Cruise-in or stop by South Shore Social tonight may drop items off tomorrow during regular business hours, 11 a.m. to midnight.
