Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

• 7:58 a.m. Monday, Sept. 30, South CR 450W, Claypool. Driver: Katlynn M. Barnes, 19, Pine Street, Denver, Ind. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.

• 4:50 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, 1400 E. Smith St., Warsaw. Driver: Elida Vargas, 38, Platte Drive, Lafayette. Vargas attempted to make a U-turn and her vehicle struck a water spigot. Damage up to $5,000.

• 6:10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, South Ferguson Road, east of South SR 25, Warsaw. Driver: Hazel Wood, 17, North Street, Milford. Wood overcorrected on a turn and her vehicle struck a mailbox and utility pole. Damage up to $10,000.

• 2:13 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, 1497 E. 550N, Leesburg. Driver: Jessica Bently, 48, Anchorage Road, Warsaw; and Gamaliel Montoya, 53, East CR 200N, Warsaw. Bently overcorrected to avoid Montoya’s vehicle and Bently’s vehicle struck a fence. Damage up to $10,000.

• 7:08 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27, South SR 19, north of West CR 250N, Etna Green. Drivers: Wagih A. Gendy, 74, Morello Lane, Noblesville; and a second unidentified driver. Gendy’s vehicle attempted to improperly pass another vehicle and struck a third oncoming vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.

• 2:27 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, East SR 14 and South CR 600E, North Manchester. Drivers: Tyler Swaindner, 37, East Street, North Manchester; and Elizabeth Johnson, 28, Main Street, Warsaw. Swaindner was traveling left of center when his vehicle struck Johnson’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

• 7:12 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, North CR 175E, south of East CR 75N, Warsaw. Drivers: Derrick Golden, 41, Persimmon Drive, Warsaw; and Jay L. Dausman, 65, North CR 1000E, Pierceton. Golden’s vehicle was following Dausman’s vehicle too closely and rear-ended it when it came to a stop. Damage up to $10,000.

• 5:20 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, CR 700E and CR 650S, Sidney. Driver: Gary Tenney, 72, Norris Freeway, Rocky Top, Tenn. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.
