Warsaw Man Arrested After Domestic Incident
Staff Report
WARSAW — A Warsaw man was recently arrested during a domestic incident.
Tyler Matthew Crow, 23, 3349 E. East Ridge Drive, Warsaw, is charged with domestic battery committed in the presence of a child, a level 6 felony; and domestic battery, a class A misdemeanor.
On Aug. 18, a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to a domestic battery complaint at a Warsaw residence. A woman said she and Crow were arguing when he became angry and slammed a bassinet on the floor, causing it to break.
According to court documents, the woman said Crow grabbed her upper arm and attempted to take a child out of her arms. In the process, Crow scratched the child’s arm and caused several scratches on the woman’s arm.
Crow said he damaged the bassinet and that the scratch on the child’s arm must have been caused by him trying to take the child from the woman.
At the time of this incident, Crow was under a suspended sentence for battery, with the conviction entered in June 2024.
Crow was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on Sept. 19. He has an initial hearing at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30, in Kosciusko Superior Court Two.
