Fall Family Fun Evening At Lucerne Park Friday, Oct. 4

WARSAW — The City of Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department invites families to an evening of fall fun by the lake, with free hayrides, pony rides, bounce houses, a campfire with s’mores, crafts, photo booth and more 6-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4.
Free corn dogs, chips, cookies and drinks will be available from 6-7:30 p.m. in Cabin 1 at Lucerne Park, 800 N. Park Ave, served by Warsaw Missionary Church while supplies last.
Cabins 2, 3 and 4 will be filled with fun crafts and activities for the kids to partake in, along with a photo booth to capture the family memories made.
The night will end with a movie on the Monster Screen in the amphitheater. “Elemental” will start at 7:30 p.m. as the cabin activities wind down. Feel free to bring lawn chairs and blankets for the movie. Free popcorn for the movie will be provided by Grace College.
To increase parking, the Kosciusko County Council on Aging and Aged will be providing free transportation from 6-9 p.m. from Hire Park, 750 E. Arthur St., to Lucerne Park and back. Signs will indicate where pick up and drop off will occur at each location.
