Irene J. (Gingerich) Kuhns, 76, died Sunday, Sept. 22, 2024.

She was born Dec. 9, 1947. On Dec. 28, 1967, she married Freeman L. Kuhns, who survives.

She also is survived by six sons, Robert (Irma) Kuhns, Milford, Devon (Susan) Kuhns, Etna Green, Joni (Lizzie) Kuhns, Milford, Carl Kuhns, Middlebury, Matthew (Sara) Kuhns, Nappanee, and Leon (Rosemary) Kuhns, Nappanee; two daughters, Wanda (Cristy) Miller, Nappanee, and Susan (Joseph) Miller, Milford; 35 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ervin (Rosie) Gingerich, Bloomfield, Iowa, and Larry (Karen) Gingerich, Syracuse; two sisters, Esther (John) Weaver, Sarasota, Fla., and Mary (Lloyd) Yoder, Bloomfield, Iowa; sisters-in-laws, Mary Ellen Miller and Martha Ann Miller; and brother-in-law, Willis Miller.
