Joni Sylvanus Beachy, 83, Nappanee, died Monday morning, Sept. 23, 2024, at home.

He was born May 23, 1941. His wife, Mary Ellen (Slabaugh) Beachy, whom he married Dec. 21, 1963, survives.

He also is survived by three children, Rhonda (Roland) Schrock, Harrisonburg, Va., Shawn (Lisa) Beachy, Hillsville, Va., and Todd (Erica) Beachy, Bremen; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Owen (Hannah) Beachy and Lloyd Beachy, both of Hartsville, Ohio.
