Richard C. Erdman, 87, Columbia City, died Thursday, Sept. 5, 2024, at Stillwater Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.

He was born Sept. 11, 1936. His wife, Patricia A. (Schwendeman) Erdman, whom he married Sept. 26, 1959, survives.

He also is survived by his sons, Kevin and Alexander Erdman; brother, Wesley J. Erdman; and several nieces and nephews.
