Jayme D. Hapner, 73, Columbia City, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2024, in hospice care at Parkview Whitley Hospital.

She was born Dec. 28, 1950. On Aug. 24, 1977, she married Albert L. Hapner, who preceded her in death in 2000.

She is survived by her son, Scott Weaver, Fort Wayne; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Gerry McClain, Fort Wayne, Brett McClain, Fort Wayne, Mel McClain, Roanoke, and Larry McClain, Fort Wayne; and a sister, Linda Denney, Graham, Wash.

Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City, is handling arrangements.
