Gerald G. “Jerry” Young, 85, Dewart Lake, died Sunday, Sept. 15, 2024, at home.

He was born June 25, 1939. On June 11, 1977, he married Carolyn Smith-Hollingworth, who preceded him in death in 2023.

He is survived by his children, Tereasa Cook, Gerald “Kerry” Young, Gernel Gallagher and Raymond Hollingsworth; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Wanda and Jeanie Poole; and many extended family members and friends.

Titus Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Syracuse, is handling arrangements.
