South Bend Man Arrested For Allegedly Battering Woman In Kosciusko County

WARSAW — A South Bend man was recently arrested for allegedly battering a woman in Kosciusko County.
De Shaun William Bahr, 22, South Bend, is charged with domestic battery resulting in serious bodily injury, a level 5 felony; and domestic battery, a class A misdemeanor.
On Sept. 10, a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to a battery report. A woman said she had a verbal argument with Bahr, which turned physical when Bahr pushed her and hit her face multiple times.
According to court documents, the deputy noticed abrasions on the woman’s arms, a laceration on her lower lip, two broken front teeth, and a large swollen area above her left eye.
Bahr told the deputy he was angry and blacked out. He admitted to hitting and injuring the woman.
Bahr was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on Sept. 10. A photo of Bahr was unavailable for publication.
