Kosciusko County

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

• 10:40 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, South 275E and South Wilcox Road, Warsaw. Driver: Brent Buyers, 63, Elaine Drive, Warsaw. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.
• 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, North SR 19, south of West Moore Road, Nappanee. Driver: Isaak E. Duran, 19, K Lane, Elkhart. Duran’s vehicle made an unsafe lane movement in order to avoid a horse and buggy and oncoming traffic. The vehicle struck the buggy, which rolled. The buggy driver and two juveniles were transported for medical attention.
• 3:31 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, East 450N, west of EMS C30 Lane, Warsaw. Driver: Dwayne Cooper, 61, East Street, North Webster. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.
• 6:42 a.m. Friday, Sept. 6, East 200N, west of North 525E, Warsaw. Driver: Christa Briar, 38, Old SR 15, Leesburg. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.
• 4:32 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, North SR 13, south of Ideal Beach Drive, Syracuse. Drivers: Brandon Carr, 38, Center Street, Warsaw; and Brooke Montileaux, 47 Emeline Street, Milford. Carr’s vehicle struck Montileaux’s vehicle while improperly passing. Montileaux’s vehicle then struck the Rose Garden Recovery Community’s sign. Montileaux was transported for neck pain. Damage up to $10,000.

Elkhart County

Officers with the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accident:

• 5:56 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, SR 19 and SR 119, Nappanee. Driver: Randall Weaver, 60, Nappanee. Weaver lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into the guard rail at the roundabout. He was transported to Elkhart General Hospital with possibly life-threatening injuries. He sustained head trauma, broken ribs on his left side, a broken left leg,

  a broken left arm and lacerations to the head.

Fulton County

Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

• 7:59 a.m. Monday, Sept. 9, 1645 S. Park Road, Rochester. Driver: Alyssa A. Brown, 16, Rochester. Unspecified single vehicle accident.
• 11:57 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, South 750W and West 650S, Kewanna. Driver: Levi J. Martin, 18, Fulton. Martin’s vehicle swerved into another lane into a ditch and rolled. No injuries.
• 6:17 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, 1009 W.Third Street, Rochester. Driver: Joe A. Carroll, 68, South Whitley. Unspecified single vehicle accident.
