Serina D. Hoffer
Serina Dawn Hoffer, 49, of Plymouth, passed at 8:33 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2024, at Goshen Hospital of Goshen.
Serina Dawn was born on June 22, 1975, in Wabash, to the late Teddy Ray and Joyce E. (Smith) Vance. She attended Tippecanoe Valley High School and worked as a production associate at Nisco of Bremen for 10 years.
Serina cherished her role as a grandmother, often taking her grandchildren to the zoo, the park and the fair. She had a passion for shopping at yard sales, flea markets and farmers markets. She also had a unique collection of all things watermelon. She also enjoyed spending time with her co-workers; they were so good to her. They went to the movies and vacationed together.
She is survived by her son, Austin and wife Raven Holloway, of South Bend; grandchildren, Caden, Silas and Zamiah; sister, Debbie and husband John Whitaker, of Akron; nephew, Justin and wife Sherri Whitaker; and fiancé, Christopher Stoller, of Plymouth.
Serina was preceded in death by her parents.
The funeral service will take place at noon, Tuesday, Sept. 10, at Hartzler Funeral Home, 305 W. Rochester St., Akron, with Pastor Frank Whitaker officiating.
The interment will take place in the IOOF Cemetery, Rochester.
Visitation hours will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Sept. 10, at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron.
