Hudson Matthew Baldridge
Hudson Matthew Baldridge, age 2, beloved son of McKenzie and Dillon Baldridge, passed away tragically on Sunday, Sept. 1, 2024, after he drowned in a channel behind North Gilliam Drive in Warsaw and went straight into the loving arms of Jesus. They have comfort in knowing Hudson is in heaven, but please let us keep them in our prayers as they navigate this heartache.
He came into this world with his twin brother, Benson, on May 12, 2022, with joyful expectation to his loving parents, McKenzie Taylor (Casner) Baldridge and Dillon Kent Baldridge. They had plenty of love to go around with their growing family now that they made their son, Landen, a big brother.
Hudson lived a beautiful, special life and was loved by everyone around him. He was the sunshine to his family’s life, and he could light up the whole room, any room, he walked into. He loved spending time with family, and loved his mommy, daddy, twin brother Bensy and big brother Landen so much. Hudson spent hours doing what little boys do, playing with cars, dinosaurs and sharing with his best friend, Bensy Boo. He also loved taking his brother Benson’s toys when he was playing with them, running around smiling, but he would always bring them right back to him with a big ol’ laugh and smile. Hudson never tired of running around playing with Benson, laughing and giggling. He loved Daddy’s car, and anytime he’d take off or get on it, his face would light up, and he would be full of giggles. Hudson loved giving hugs and kisses and saying “Awwww.” His favorite song was “Wheels on the Bus,” he loved watching Cocomelon and Bebefinn and, of course, he loved filling his little basket with all of his toys and enjoyed lining up all of his cars. The family pets received plenty of his affection, and he loved their puppy, Diesel-boy, and the family kitties, Rango and Trace.
He touched the hearts of so many and left a big impact on this world with his short time on this Earth. Hudson will forever be lovingly remembered by his daddy, Dillon Baldridge, mommy, Mckenzie Baldridge, twin brother Benson and big brother Landen, all of Warsaw. Also surviving are his Papaw Matt and Gigi Michelle Casner; Papaw Willie and Memaw Angie Baldridge; great-grandma, Ruth Casner; great-grandma, Nancy, and great-grandpa, Ray Kindle; great-grandpa, Richard Seitz; and great-grandma, Carolyn Grow. Additional survivors include his aunt, Morgan Casner; uncle, Ashton Baldridge; aunt, Breanna Baldridge; cousins, Ashlynn, Ciara and Khloe Baldridge; and aunt, Bree Revis, and family.
Hudson’s life will be celebrated with a private family service at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw. He will be laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw.
