Lorretta J. Burnworth, 85, Shipshewana, formerly of Columbia City, died Thursday, Aug. 29, 2024, at home.

She was born May 14, 1939. On Jan. 5, 1958, she married Larry L. Burnworth, who survives.

She also is survived by her son, Doyle (Vicki) Burnworth, South Whitley; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and siblings, Delores Franks, Warsaw, Janet (Jerry) Brock, Ocala, Fla., Michael (Carol) Johnson, Brownsburg, and Patrick (Kathy) Johnson, Columbia City.
