News Release
NORTH WEBSTER — The North Webster Community Public Library has announced a two-part round loom knitting program for all knitting enthusiasts, beginners and experienced crafters alike.
Part one of the program will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12. In this introductory session, participants will learn the basics of round loom knitting. The class will cover the purpose of a round loom, starting a project and how to put yarn on the loom. Participants are encouraged to bring their own round loom and hook, along with their favorite color or two of medium weight yarn. This hands-on session promises to be both educational and enjoyable.
Part two will follow at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19. During this session, participants will complete the projects they started in part one. The class will guide attendees through the process of taking their projects off the loom and tying them off to finish. This follow-up session ensures that everyone leaves with a finished product and the skills to continue their round loom knitting journey.
