Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accident:

• 1:43 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, South Packerton Road, north of East CR 1000S, Claypool. Driver: Brooks A. Huffer, 61, C28D Lane, Warsaw. Huffer’s vehicle was struck by another vehicle that was improperly passing. The vehicle left the scene. Damage up to $2,500.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

• 3:46 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, US 30 and SR 15, Warsaw. Drivers: Ren M. Clark, 64, CR 1100N, Milford; and Ted H. Cook, 59, Hill Trail Road, Bremen. Clark’s vehicle struck Cook’s vehicle when Cook slowed to turn. Damage up to $5,000.
• 7:50 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26, 1170 Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Drivers: Eric G. Lee, 39, Union Street, Warsaw; and Lindsay A. Castro, 41, EMS C27 Lane, Warsaw. Lee’s vehicle was backing out of a parking space and struck Castro’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
• 10:50 a.m. Monday, Aug. 26, 2501 Walton Blvd., Warsaw. Drivers: William Burgett, 72, Smith Street, Milford; and James A. Priser, 85, CR 600S, Claypool. Burgett’s vehicle was backing out of a parking space and struck Priser’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
• 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 26, SR 15 and East Market Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Hilari Carpenter, 31, Bison Ridge, Nappanee; and Tracy M. Speigle, 58, CR 300E, Warsaw. Carpenter’s vehicle was following Speigle’s vehicle too closely and rear-ended it. Damage up to $5,000.
• 8:33 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23, East Market Street and South McKinley Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Leah Starcher, 20, Congress Lake Avenue, Hartville, Ohio; and Alex C. Boyer, 25, Line Street, Columbia City. Starcher’s vehicle failed to yield the right of way and struck Boyer’s vehicle at the intersection. Damage up to $25,000.
• 10:06 a.m. Friday, Aug. 23, SR 15, south of Monoquet Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Jeremy Tolson, 37, Orchard Drive, Warsaw; and Amber L. Prater, 43, Buffalo Street, Burket. In stop and go traffic, Prater’s vehicle braked and Tolson’s vehicle attempted to brake but struck Prater’s vehicle. Damage up to $25,000.
