Alvin W. Cripe, 93, New Paris, died Monday, Aug. 26, 2024, at Waterford Crossing Health Campus.

He was born Dec. 12, 1930. On July 8, 1956, he married Mary E. Hartsough, who survives.

He also is survived by three children, Jeffrey Cripe, New Paris, Brian (Cowizetta) Cripe, Syracuse, and Carol (Gene) Pfefferle, Milford; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Grace Cripe, Tennessee.

Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, is handling arrangements.
