North Webster Declares Aug. 28 As Jay Montalbano Day

NORTH WEBSTER — North Webster has declared Wednesday, Aug. 28, as Jay Montalbano Day. To honor him, a celebration of life will be held on Pilcher’s Lawn, North Webster, at 6:30 p.m. that day.
Montalbano died Friday, March 15, at the age of 58. A native of Plymouth, he worked for UPS for nearly 40 years.
The day is to honor and celebrate his life and to show his family the town’s appreciation for the many yers of service he provided its residents and businesses.
This tribute day will be held on his birthday to give support to his family by showing the town’s tremendous heart and gratitude for a man, who went above and beyond his normal duties.
People are encouraged to bring their memories and stories, either written or in person, to share on how he touched their life.
A scholarship fund in his memory has been set up at Northwest Bank, for anyone wishing to donate.
