WINONA LAKE — No injuries were reported after a Dodge Charger rear-ended a Warsaw Community Schools’ bus in Winona Lake.

The wreck happened around 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, on Kings Highway near Sixth Street.

A Winona Lake Police officer said the Dodge Charger hit the back of the bus, with the Charger then rolling back and striking a Nissan SUV.

Eight kids were on the bus at the time of the wreck, with a WCS representative stating there were no injuries and parents were being notified.

No one else was injured in the wreck.

Also responding to the scene were the Pierceton Police Department, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, Winona Lake Fire Department and Lutheran EMS.
