WHITLEY COUNTY — SR 205 will be closed daily for culvert replacements, according to a news release from the Indiana Department of Transportation.

Starting on or after Monday, Aug. 19, crews will be working between SR 5 and SR 9. Work on the project is expected to take about four days. SR 205 will be reopened every night.

All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.

During the closure, drivers should use the approved detour of SR 5, SR 14 and SR 9, or seek an alternative route.

INDOT encourages drivers to slow down, use extra caution and drive distraction-free when traveling in and around work zones.
