The Lighthouse Announces Addiction Summit in Fort Wayne Aug. 15

FORT WAYNE — The Lighthouse announces its 2024 Addiction Summit will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15.
The Addiction Summit is designed to bring awareness to the community about the threats and consequences of illegal drug use, as well as provide a safe places to find hope and healing.
The free event is being held at The Lighthouse Community Center, 3000 E. State Blvd., Fort Wayne, where you will have the opportunity to access materials for self-education, learn what recovery resources are available and connect with others who understand the devastating effects of addiction.
There will also be Narcan available for all attendees.
Dr. Brandon Bower, the founder and director of The Lighthouse stated, “This Addiction Summit is designed to bring an end to the stigma that surrounds drug use and open doors to recovery. When recovery is strong in a community, overdose rates drop!”
