Linda Manuel

Linda Manuel, 70, of Bourbon, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2024, in Mason Health and Rehab Center of Warsaw.

Linda was born April 20, 1954, to Monroe and Ollie (Reffitt) Baldridge, in Prestonsburg, Ky. She graduated from Prestonsburg High School in 1972. She married Sammy Manuel on Oct. 25, 1973, and he survives. She was a loving wife and mother. She worked in nursing homes, as a teacher’s assistant and at Warsaw Coil as a general laborer. She loved her family, her dogs and watching pro wrestling with her son, Greg. She also loved to watch her daily game shows and HGTV.

Linda is survived by her husband, Sammy Manuel, of Bourbon; her son, Gregory Manuel, of Bourbon; her sister, Brenda Campbell, of Blue River, Ky.; her brother, Danny (Barbara) Baldridge, of Blue River, Ky.; her sister-in-law, Patty Manuel, of Warsaw; along with numerous nieces and nephews living in Indiana and Kentucky.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Monroe and Ollie Baldridge; her sisters, Leora Manuel and Ruth Baldridge; her brothers, Cecil Baldridge, Ronnie Baldridge, Earl Baldridge, Ellis Baldridge and David Baldridge; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Edward and Polly Manuel; her brothers-in-law, Dallas (Leora) Manuel, Eddie (Brenda) Campbell, John (Patty) Manuel, Robert Manuel and Roger Manuel; and her sisters-in-law, Charlene (Cecil) Baldridge and Deloris (Ronnie) Baldridge.

A visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St., Bourbon. A funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. with Pastor Larrie Kreft officiating. The burial will take place in Tippecanoe Cemetery, SR 331, Tippecanoe.
