Jason Hanes

ETNA GREEN — Jason Hanes has resigned immediately from his Etna Green Town Council seat Wednesday, Aug. 7, according to an announcement by Kosciusko County Republican Central Committee Chairman Mike Ragan.

Eligible applicants must be residents of the town of Etna Green and Republicans in good standing.

Since fewer than two persons would be eligible to participate in a precinct committeemen caucus to fill the vacancy, Ragan will appoint a qualified person for the remaining unexpired term.

The vacancy will be filled at 3 p.m. Aug. 27, at the Kosciusko County Clerk’s office.

Declarations of Candidacy and Statements of Economic Interests are available at the Kosciusko County Clerk of the Circuit Court office, 121 N. Lake St., Warsaw. They must be notarized and filed with Ragan no later than 72 hours before the appointment.
