Bonnie Manns

Bonnie Manns, age 85, of Milford, passed away at 4:55 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at The Waters of Syracuse. She was born on Aug. 22, 1938, the daughter of John and Rosie (Kidd) Gillespie, in Martin, Ky. On July 27, 1957, she married Edward Manns on his birthday, and together they shared more than 60 years of marriage.

Bonnie is survived by a daughter, Joyce Skrumelak, of Milford; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a daughter, Judy Laramore; and a son, Larry Manns.

Bonnie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed taking care of her home and spending time with her family. During their 60 years of marriage, she did everything with Edward, including gardening, canning, and visiting family and friends.

Bonnie was laid to rest with Edward at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Milford. Pastor Brad Cox officiated the graveside service.
