Officers with the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following incidents:

• 6:53 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, 66000 block SR 15, New Paris. Jim Landrum reported that a suspect stole a solar panel from a temporary stop light.

Fulton County

Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following incidents:

• 10:14 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, 8000 block West Olson Road, Rochester. Officers took a report of harassment.
• 6:19 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, 900 block Fortna Drive, Rochester. Officers investigated a break-in and theft.
• 6:18 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, 800 block Main Street, Rochester. Officers responded to an unknown ferret loose in the Fulton County Courthouse. The ferret was caught and homed.
