Michael E. Urschel, 71, rural Wabash, died at 5:28 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, 2024, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.

He was born Nov. 23, 1952. His wife, Beverly (Staats) Urschel, whom he married Oct. 15, 2010, survives.

He also is survived by three children, Jeff Urschel, Wabash, Lindsay Urschel, Carmel, and Lauren (Darin) Hoffman, Huntington; three grandchildren; two brothers, James L. (Kathy) Urschel, Wabash, and Joe (Darcie) Bever, Lagro; and stepfather, Don Bever, Wabash.

Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash, is handling arrangements.
