Sherri L. Jarrell-Baker
Sherri Lynn Jarrell-Baker, 57, of Pierceton, passed away at 12:38 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, 2024, after fighting 11 long years with a kidney disease.
Sherri was born on March 8, 1967, in Columbia City, to Bill and Onda “Okie” (Stephens) Baker.
Sherri worked hard to provide for her boys, always working many different jobs and finally opening up her own day care out of her home. She loved various things in her life, like going to the casinos, singing karaoke in her living room, playing cards and family dinners or get-togethers with loved ones. One thing’s for sure, Sherri was always one to speak her mind and loved joking around.
Sherri is survived by her two boys, Scotty (Denielle) Jarrell and Ryan (Megan) Jarrell; five grandchildren, Colton Jarrell, Meliah Jarrell, Gavin Coble, Paisley Jarrell and Parker Jarrell; sister, Rhonda Baker; brother, Gordon (Pam) Baker; nieces, Olivia (Baylee) Monreal, Meghan (Joey) Prater and Jill (Justin) Young; nephew, Tony (Hannah) Yagel; great-nieces, Harlee Prater and Aubri Jefferson; great-nephews, Haydon Prater, Hunter Prater and Hudson Prater; and ex-husband and best friend, Tim Jarrell.
She was preceded in passing by her parents.
Sherri will be laid to rest with both her parents, Bill and Onda Baker, in Hillcrest Cemetery.
A visitation with family and friends will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw.
