James “Jim” Parson died Friday, June 21, 2024, at Lakewood Ranch Hospice House.

He was born Oct. 1, 1938.

His wife, Linda Rae (Rengal) Parson, whom he married March 6, 1993, died Monday, July 15, 2024, at Lakewood Ranch Hospice House in Florida.

She was born Sept. 2, 1943.

They are survived by children, Steve (Darlene), Wheatland, Mike (Sandy), Bristol, Scott (Kim Stanley) Parson, Port Ritchy, Fla., and Tina Topolino, Florida; two sisters, Ruth (Bill) Alfrey and Miriam (Phil) Leach, New Paris; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Jim also is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Rieth Rohrer Ehret Funeral Home, Goshen, is handling arrangements.
