North Manchester Man Arrested After Road Rage Incident In Ligonier

LIGONIER — A North Manchester man was recently arrested after a road rage incident in Ligonier.
Adrein M. Adams, 32, 5150 Wall St., North Manchester, is charged with intimidation with a deadly weapon, a level 5 felony; and criminal recklessness committed with a deadly weapon, a level 6 felony.
On July 30, a Ligonier Police officer encountered Adams at the intersection of Richmond Street and SR 5 after a vehicle accident. The accident was allegedly caused by Adams’ road rage/aggressive driving.
According to court documents, Adams threatened to hit the other involved driver with a metal jack handle after Adams rammed the driver’s vehicle with his vehicle. This was all due to being stopped in traffic.
Witnesses said Adams was stopped in traffic and began to honk his horn when he physically rammed the vehicle in front of his with his vehicle.
Adams was booked in the Noble County Jail on July 30.
